Creating the Perfect Look for Your Staff

Whether you are opening your doors for the first time, reinventing your restaurant’s look, or expanding into a chain, it can be a great move to consider the overall look of your restaurant, and that includes your staff. Customers always consider the ambience of a restaurant when they decide whether or not they want to eat there, and that includes how the staff treats them and interacts with them.

No one enjoys eating at an establishment where the staff are dressed in a shabby manner, so make sure your staff are always looking crisp. You will notice that the most successful joints, from 5-star dining to coffee shop chains, always pay attention to the look of their employees. Issuing an employee dress code is one thing, but elevate your restaurant to the next level by providing uniforms.

With uniforms, your staff will present a unified look that inspires confidence in customers. Diners will respond to the fact that everyone appears to be a part of a team. Uniforms do not necessarily mean putting everyone on a level playing, either. Just because you have staff uniforms does not mean you can not respect the different levels of expertise. Vary things a bit with different color neckties or aprons among the chefs, and for FOH staff consider different colored shirts or pants.

Of course, if you are going to be outfitting an entire staff, you’ll want to invest in some of the finest, while looking to your budget. Thankfully, you have ASOS on your side. With ASOS, you can invest in great clothes for much less than usual. The reason ASOS is able to do this right now is because of its new partnership with Groupon. If you have not heard of Groupon, it may be because you have not left the kitchen in ages. But then again, Groupon is new to the United Kingdom, so do not feel too bad. Groupon is forming a brand new partnership with ASOS to bring great deals to consumers across a wide range of sectors, including restaurateurs like yourself.
